Mutual interaction of lncRNAs and epigenetics: focusing on cancer

چکیده
Abstract Long noncoding RNAs are characterized as transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides in response to a variety of functions within the cells. They involved almost all cellular mechanisms so epigenetics. Given that epigenetics is an important phenomenon, which participates biology complex diseases, many valuable studies have been performed demonstrate control status lncRNAs and DNA methylation histone modifications epigenetic can regulate expression by affecting their coding genes. Reciprocally, three-dimensional structure could mechanistically activity epigenetic-related enzymes. Dysregulation mutual interaction between one hallmarks cancer. These either directly or indirectly various cancer properties such proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, metastasis. For instance, lncRNA HOTAIR plays role regulating genes interacting with factors methyltransferases EZH2, thus initiation progression cancers. Conversely, this also controlled factors. Therefore, focusing on reciprocated apply management identification prognostic, diagnostic, druggable targets. In current review, we discuss reciprocal relationship promote prevent find new potent biomarkers targets for diagnosis therapy.

Epigenetics in diagnosis of colorectal cancer
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a third most common epithelial carcinoma. CRC is known to develop from the early precancerous lesion to full blown malignancy via definite phases due to cumulative mutations and aberrant methylation of number of genes. The use of serum biomarkers that is non-invasive to discriminate cancer patients from healthy persons will prove to be an important tool to improve the...
متن کاملThe Interaction between Epigenetics, Nutrition and the Development of Cancer
Unlike the genome, the epigenome can be modified and hence some epigenetic risk markers have the potential to be reversed. Such modifications take place by means of drugs, diet or environmental exposures. It is widely accepted that epigenetic modifications take place during early embryonic and primordial cell development, but it is also important that we gain an understanding of the potential f...

The Role of Epigenetics in Cancer Drug Resistance
Cancer is caused by aberrant genetic and epigenetic changes in genes expression. DNA methylation, histone modification, and microRNAs gene deregulation are the most known epigenetic changes in different stages of cancer. Since every tumor has its own specific epigenome, any abnormal pattern is a potential biomarker for classification of different types of tumors. Despite, tumorigenesis, abnorma...
